Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Structural Engineer to join the team. The Structural Engineer will be responsible for performing structural calculations, conducting structural analyses, and designing various building structures. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in structural systems, is proficient in Revit and analysis software. You’ll be involved in everything from client meetings to technical detailing, helping deliver high-quality, code-compliant, and constructible designs.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing all aspects of the complete design of structural engineering assignments.
• Responsible for the project engineering of small to large-sized projects from concept and schematic design through construction documents to construction and commissioning.
• Attend meetings with clients and promote positive client contact with current or prospective clients.
• Visit project sites during construction for reviews of quality, progress, and compliance with specifications and standards.
• Responsible for the quality and timely delivery of the projects to budget.
• As needed, provide support to business development, including write-up of key aspects of projects and presentation of work at industry events.
• Work with architects on concepts for project competitions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• PE license preferred or actively pursuing licensure.
• 5+ years of structural engineering experience with wood, steel, concrete, and masonry structures.
• Proficient in Revit and at least one structural analysis software (e.g., RISA, RAM, ADAPT, TEDDS).
• Strong understanding of structural codes, standards, and construction practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Creative, detail-oriented, and able to problem-solve effectively in a team environment.
