Richard Adams Engineers & Consultants (RAE) is seeking a Structural Drafter to join our on-site team in the St. Louis area (Richmond Heights). The ideal candidate will create 3D Revit models for plans and construction documents, apply revisions, and ensure BIM standards are followed across disciplines.

This full-time position emphasizes accuracy, coordination, and clear documentation. Candidates should have 2+ years in structural drafting with Revit, plus a related design/CAD background.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of structural drafting experience using Revit.
• Experience or academic background in a related field (Design/Drafting, CAD, BIM Technology, Civil Engineering, etc.).
• Strong working knowledge of Revit for model creation and construction documentation.
• Ability to coordinate Revit models with other disciplines.
• Exceptional attention to detail and clear, consistent documentation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and organize tasks effectively.
• This is a full-time, in-office position.

About You:

Richard Adams Engineers & Consultants (RAE) is a full-service structural engineering firm established in 1993. We provide comprehensive engineering services including project planning, feasibility studies, conceptual and design development, construction documentation, and construction-phase support.

We are seeking a Structural Drafter to join our team onsite in our St. Louis (Richmond Heights) office. At RAE, we are committed to creating opportunities for individual success. A Day in the Life:

• Create 3D Revit models to produce plans, sections, details, and construction documentation
