Job summary

Richard Adams Engineers & Consultants (RAE) seeks a Structural Drafter to join our St. Louis (Richmond Heights) office onsite.

You’ll create 3D Revit models to produce plans, sections, and construction documentation, and you’ll apply redline revisions to BIM models. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of structural drafting experience with Revit (AutoCAD a plus), excellent attention to detail, and strong verbal and written communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of structural drafting experience using Revit (AutoCAD experience is a plus)
• Experience or academic background in a related field (Design/Drafting, CAD, BIM Technology, Civil Engineering, etc.)
• Strong working knowledge of Revit for model creation and construction documentation
• Ability to coordinate Revit models with other disciplines
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to clear, consistent documentation
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and organize tasks effectively
• This is a full-time, in-office position

Responsibilities

• Create 3D Revit models to produce plans, sections, details, and construction documentation
• Apply redline revisions accurately and efficiently
• Follow RAE’s established BIM standards, templates, and workflows—and contribute feedback to support ongoing improvement
• Participate actively in team discussions and coordination efforts with other disciplines
