Job summary

IntePros in Fort Washington, PA is seeking a Structural Drafter to join our team and help prepare structural drawings and construction documents for single-family residential projects.

You will work closely with our structural engineers and architectural staff to develop drawings in AutoCAD, revise them per comments, and maintain organized construction documents. Hybrid work arrangement: onsite 3 days per week minimum, with potential growth and increased responsibilities over time.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of structural or architectural drafting for buildings using AutoCAD.
• Basic understanding of building construction and structural components.
• Ability to work accurately and meet project deadlines.
• Ability to follow established procedures and work independently when needed.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret architectural and structural plans and markups.
• Prepare structural drawings and construction details for single-family residential projects, including foundations, framing, and wall bracing.
• Make revisions to drawings based on engineer and architect comments.
• Coordinate with engineers and architectural staff to keep projects moving.
• Follow established drafting standards, processes, and project schedules.
• Keep drawing files, markups, and details organized within the existing file structure.
• Maintain accurate and consistent construction documents.

There will also be opportunities to learn more about residential structural engineering and take on additional responsibilities over time, depending on interest and workload.
