Job summary

Ramboll in Americas is seeking a Structural Designer to join the Structural Department. You will prepare structural drawings in Autodesk Revit, collaborate with design and construction professionals, and support project delivery across municipal, industrial, institutional, and commercial sectors.

As part of Ramboll’s global team, you will engage in CAD/BIM coordination, vendor drawing reviews, and field visits to enhance practical engineering skills while supporting safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree related to Structural Technology.
• Experience with Autodesk Revit is required.
• Willingness to grow into new market sectors and learn.
• Confident communicator who can interact with clients and colleagues, work independently, and contribute to team growth.

Responsibilities

• Prepare structural engineering and construction drawings using Revit for all project phases.
• Follow Ramboll quality standards and client/industry specifics.
• Participate in the CAD/BIM Coordinator Certification program.
• Act as CAD/BIM Coordinator on selected projects.
• Review vendor drawings for contract compliance.
• Visit job sites to gain field experience and develop skills.
• Support safety culture in office and on site.
• Apply engineering concepts and perform calculations under supervision.
