Job summary

Jobot in San Francisco is seeking a Structural Designer with 2+ years of experience to join its Building Systems Engineering group. You will design supports for architectural features, handle seismic anchorage and bracing of equipment, and contribute to structural evaluation and retrofit design.

Job Details

REQUIRED

• A master’s degree (preferred), or 5-year Architectural Engineering degree
• Strong background in seismic design of nonstructural components per ASCE Chapter 13 and HCAI CBC Chapter A
• 2 to 5 years of professional engineering experience
• Excellent verbal and written skills

DESIRED

• Solid analytical and detailing skills
• Skill using 3D modeling programs such as Revit, AutoCAD 3D and Navisworks
• Experience in construction administration
• Familiarity with OPDs and OSPs for HCAI projects
• Professional registration a plus
