Job summary

Ferrovial Construction US Corp. is seeking a Segment Manager in geotechnical design to support major civil infrastructure projects. The role involves analyses, field coordination, reports, and design reviews to ensure safe, compliant earthworks and foundations.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s in civil/geotechnical engineering, 10+ years of relevant experience, and (preferred) a PE license. Strong communication and team leadership are essential for coordinating multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering is required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum ten (10) years of geotechnical engineering experience in heavy civil or transportation projects.

Responsibilities

• Support geotechnical design work for roadway embankments, earth slopes, and foundations.
• Review calculations and documents; assist with models and design analyses.
• Coordinate field investigations, laboratory testing, and report preparation for the Segment.
