Job summary

STV is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Buildings Intern to join our team. This hybrid position requires at least 3 days a week in the office.

Preference will be given to those who can participate in the internship for at least 3 months and can work full-time. Responsibilities include assisting in preparing design calculations for buildings and other structures under the supervision of senior engineers, developing drawings using Revit and AutoCAD, reviewing submittals, coordinating

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering at an ABET-accredited University.
• Experience with Revit and AutoCAD is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing design calculations for buildings and other structures under the supervision of senior engineers.
• Develop structural and other drawings using Revit and AutoCAD software packages.
• Support the production of design-related reports and documentation.
• Review shop drawings and other construction submittals for learning purposes and initial compliance checks.
• Help coordinate project requirements, schedules, and deliverables.
• Assist with the preparation of technical documentation and presentations.
• Participate in site visits to gather information and support project implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project success.
• Perform other tasks as assigned to support project goals and team objectives.

Education
