Job summary

STV, Inc. is seeking a Structural Engineering Intern to join our team in a hybrid office environment. You will assist in the design and analysis of bridges and structures, support calculations, drawings, and technical reports while learning from experienced engineers.

Eligible candidates are pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering (ABET-accredited) and can commit to at least 3 months, with the possibility of full-time hours and extended internships.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities for structural analysis.
• Pursuing a civil engineering degree with relevant coursework and interest in bridges.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and analysis of bridges and other structures, applying engineering principles and techniques.
• Support the preparation of design calculations, construction drawings, and technical reports.
• Participate in the inspection and rating of existing structures, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
