Job summary

STV Incorporated seeks a Buildings Intern to join our team in a hybrid role, offering hands-on experience in building design. Candidates should be pursuing a civil, structural, or architectural engineering degree and be eager to learn from seasoned professionals.

You will assist with design calculations, create drawings in Revit and AutoCAD, review submittals, and help coordinate project deliverables. Preference for a minimum 3-month commitment and full-time availability.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering at an ABET-accredited university or NCEES equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing design calculations for buildings and structures under supervision of senior engineers.
• Develop structural and other drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Support the production of design-related reports and documentation.
• Review shop drawings and submittals for learning and initial compliance checks.
• Coordinate project requirements, schedules, and deliverables.
• Prepare technical documentation and presentations.
• Participate in site visits to gather information and support project implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project success.

Education
