Job summary

EXP Services Inc. is seeking a Building Structures intern in Chicago to join our team. You will work on structural analysis and design for buildings, assist with surveys, and collaborate with architects and engineers on multiple projects.

The role requires studying Structural Engineering at a US-accredited university, with preferred progress toward a Master's degree. Proficiency in AutoCAD and knowledge of REVIT are highly valued, as is strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Studying Structural Engineering from a US accredited university required (Master's preferred).
• Good ability at using structural analysis software.
• Experience with existing structures, building modification, and/or restoration is a plus.
• AutoCAD proficiency required.
• REVIT proficiency highly preferred.
• MS Office suite proficiency required.
• Positive team player and self-motivated to meet deadlines.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and collaborate on multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Familiar with a wide variety of structural analysis and design software.
• Conduct existing surveys and document main structural systems and connections.
• Perform analysis and design of structural systems for various buildings and materials using building codes.
• Assist in directing, coordinating, planning and completing projects with in-house staff and other design professionals.
