Job summary

EXP is seeking a Structural Design Intern in Chicago to join the Building Structures team. You will contribute to analysis and design of structural systems for buildings, support surveys, and coordinate with architects and engineers.

The role requires studying Structural Engineering at a US-accredited university (Master's preferred). Proficiency with AutoCAD and REVIT is highly valued, along with MS Office. The hourly pay ranges from $21 to $25, with benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

Pursuing Structural Engineering from a US-accredited university.
Master's degree preferred for advancement.
Experience with structural analysis software is beneficial.
Proficiency with AutoCAD is required; REVIT is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Familiar with a wide variety of structural analysis and design software.
Conduct existing surveys and document main structural systems and existing connections.
Perform analysis and design of structural systems for buildings and materials using building codes.
Assist in directing, coordinating, planning, and completing projects with in-house staff and other design professionals.
