Job description

As a part of the Quiddity team, your work will make a difference. Our EITs have the opportunity to assist with the structural design and management of a variety of civil engineering projects. As part of our team, you will learn leadership skills from experienced engineers who will provide both mentorship and guidance while performing structural designs.

Responsibilities:

1. Design of structures for municipal water and wastewater facilities.
2. Review project specifications, manufacturer submittals, local standards and codes.
3. Review work for discrepancies or inconsistencies, adjust and correlate data, and follow operations through a series of related detailed steps or processes to completion under the guidance of an experienced engineer.
4. Support mid and senior level engineers.
5. Prepare drawings for building department permits and construction.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural focus or a related engineering or science field;
2. FE required to advance Engineer-In-Training designation – must be completed within 12 months of hire date;
3. Structural design experience in municipal water and wastewater facilities preferred.
4. Valid TX driver’s license and insurable driving record.
