We are seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our Houston, TX team. The role involves designing water and wastewater treatment facilities, lift stations, and managing the water permitting process, contributing to community health and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Participate in project kick-offs, understand scope, and confirm documentation.
• Create design plans, determine drawing sequences, and prepare presentations.
• Conduct research, analyze data, and document findings.
• Prepare reports, permit applications, and respond to agency reviews.
• Design and review projects including lift stations, treatment plants, paving, and drainage.
• Perform design calculations, feasibility studies, and coordinate project costs and alternatives.
• Review plan quantities, assemble bid documents, and conduct site visits.
• Coordinate with authorities and respond to RFIs and submittals.
• Guide contractors during construction and perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Texas Professional Engineer license.
• 5+ years experience in water/wastewater treatment plant and waterline design.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations and industry standards.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and legal documents.
• Proficiency with engineering software and current industry technology.
• Self-motivated leader capable of mentoring others.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
