Job summary

Ferrovial Construction is seeking an entry‑level Structures Design Engineer in Training to support design and plan production for major civil infrastructure projects. You will work under experienced engineers to learn calculations, technical documentation, and design checks.

You will develop familiarity with structural design standards, project requirements, and design software through guided training and mentorship. This role offers hands‑on experience in bridges, walls, and related structures.

Qualifications

• Entry-level structural design tasks for bridges, retaining walls and minor structures.
• Familiarity with design standards and project documentation under mentorship.
• Ability to support design reviews and respond to design-related questions under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist with entry-level structural design tasks and plan production for bridges, retaining walls, minor structures and related civil infrastructure projects.
• Support basic structural design activities, including preparing and revising design plans, exhibits, layouts, calculations, and technical documentation.
• Assist with structural design work during Design & Build phases by completing tasks under guidance.
• Develop familiarity with structural design standards and project requirements through mentorship.
