Job summary

Mi-Tech Services Inc. seeks an entry-level Structural Engineer in Salt Lake City. You will design temporary and permanent structures for utility and civil projects, develop calculations and shop drawings, and assist senior engineers.

Responsibilities include coordinating with design and field teams, supporting bids, and ensuring quality with attention to detail. A civil engineering degree is required, with FE exam completion beneficial.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• FE exam completed or in process.
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering with structures emphasis preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Mathcad, AutoCAD, and Finite Element Analysis.
• Experience in design of temporary works, heavy civil, or infrastructure projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design a wide variety of temporary and permanent structures for utility, infrastructure and heavy civil projects.
• Develop calculation submittals and shop drawings.
• Support project pursuits and bids through preliminary evaluations and analyses.
• Coordinate with design and field teams; assist senior engineers.
• Contribute to other assigned duties as needed.
