Job summary

Mi-Tech Services Inc. is seeking a junior Structural Engineer to design temporary and permanent structures for utility and heavy civil projects. You will prepare calculation submittals, design and shop drawings, and assist in pursuing bids through preliminary evaluations.

You will collaborate with design and field teams, support senior engineers, and maintain a focus on safety, constructability, and value. A Civil Engineering degree (BS, 0–2 years) and FE exam, plus proficiency in Excel,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; 0–2 years minimum of experience in the design of temporary works, heavy civil, or infrastructure projects.
Master's degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in structures preferred.
Successful completion of the FE exam
Proficiency with MS Excel, Mathcad, AutoCAD, and Finite Element Analysis.
Previous construction field experience is a plus.
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
Must possess a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Develop calculation submittals and design and shop drawings.
Support project pursuits and bids through preliminary evaluations and analyses.
Coordinate with design and field teams; assist senior engineers with assigned duties.
