Job summary

Mi-Tech Services Inc. is seeking a structural engineer to design structures for utility and heavy civil projects. You will develop calculation submittals, shop drawings, and support bids with preliminary evaluations and analyses.

Collaboration with design and field teams and guidance from senior engineers are expected. The role requires a civil engineering degree with FE exam completed and proficiency in Excel, Mathcad, AutoCAD, and FEA.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering and 0 to 2 years minimum experience in design of temporary works, heavy civil, or infrastructure projects.
• Masters degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in structures preferred.
• Successful completion of the FE exam and proficiency with primary design tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop calculation submittals and design/shop drawings for temporary and permanent structures.
• Support project pursuits and bids through preliminary evaluations and analyses.
• Coordinate with design and field teams and assist senior engineers as needed.
