Join us as a Structural Design Engineer at FICCADENTI WAGGONER and CASTLE Structural Engineers (FWC)

Ficcadenti Waggoner and Castle is seeking entry-level engineers with 2-5 years of experience to join our talented team in our Concord, California office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, design analysis, and construction cost estimates.
• Perform construction-related services including shop drawing reviews, responses to requests for information, periodic construction site observation, and occasional specialized structural inspections.
• Collaborate with architects, designers, and building contractors on the design and construction of projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Benefits and Compensation

• Salary: $90,000 - $125,000 per year.
• Overtime pay at 1.5 times the base rate.
• Semi-annual bonuses.
• Tax-deferred profit sharing: 7.5% of total annual gross, fully employer-paid, with 5-year vesting.

At FWC, you will develop solutions to complex problems with innovation and ingenuity, working on diverse projects including parking structures, theaters, theme park structures, seismic retrofits, residential and commercial buildings, and hotels.

Candidates with a Master of Science in Structural Engineering and knowledge of software such as RISA-3D or ETABS are preferred.
