Job summary

RIMEPRO INC in the Bay Area seeks a Concrete Estimator to support structural concrete projects across the region. You will develop detailed estimates, perform quantity takeoffs, price labor and materials, and coordinate vendors and trade partners through buyout and execution.

The role requires 3–5+ years in construction estimating, with strength in structural concrete, plan reading, and Excel proficiency. Collaborative, field-facing, and focused on accuracy.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of construction estimating experience.
• Experience estimating structural concrete strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and construction documents.
• Understanding of concrete labor, material quantities, production rates, and subcontractor pricing.
• Strong math, analytical, and risk-evaluation skills.
• Excel proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates for structural concrete scopes.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and accurately price labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted work.
• Review plans, specifications, and project documents for scope, risk, and constructability.
• Develop bid proposals and support the overall bidding process.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Manage bid lists and solicit pricing from trade partners.
• Identify value engineering opportunities and potential cost savings.
• Assist with subcontractor buyout and scope review.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams on project phasing and execution.
• Maintain accurate estimating data and project documentation.
