Job summary

RIMEPRO INC is seeking an experienced Concrete Estimator to prepare detailed cost estimates for structural concrete construction projects. You will perform quantity takeoffs, labor and material cost analysis, and subcontractor pricing while coordinating with project teams to ensure accurate budgeting and bidding.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of construction estimating experience, including exposure to structural concrete.
• Strong knowledge of structural concrete construction methods, materials, and estimating practices.
• Experience performing quantity takeoffs, labor calculations, and detailed cost estimates.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to visualize construction details in both 2D and 3D.
• Experience evaluating project risks and identifying scope gaps.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple estimates and meet bid deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for structural concrete scopes of work.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and calculate material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to develop estimates.
• Evaluate project risks, scope gaps, and cost impacts.
• Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving alternatives.
• Prepare competitive proposals, bid packages, and cost breakdowns.
• Manage bid lists and coordinate pricing with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
• Review subcontractor proposals, submittals, and scope requirements.
• Assist with subcontractor buyout and procurement activities.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and site teams on sequencing and phasing.
• Participate in project meetings and estimatings reviews.

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for structural concrete scopes of work.

• Perform accurate quantity takeoffs and calculate material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.

• Review construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents to develop comprehensive estimates.

• Evaluate project risks, scope gaps, and potential cost impacts.

• Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving alternatives.

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of construction estimating experience, including exposure to structural concrete.

• Strong knowledge of structural concrete construction methods, materials, and estimating practices.

• Knowledge of value engineering, construction phasing, and project budgeting.

• Familiarity with concrete construction sequencing and field operations.
