About the Role

Our client is seeking a proficient Structural Civil Engineer to bolster their team in Welkom . This role focuses on the design, analysis, and oversight of structural elements for various construction projects, ensuring integrity and safety. You will work closely with architects and construction managers to bring complex building designs to life, applying advanced engineering principles to create resilient and efficient structures. The ideal candidate will be adept at handling structural challenges, contributing to the development of significant projects within the Free State province, and ensuring adherence to the highest engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for buildings, bridges, and other civil structures using industry-standard software.
• Develop detailed structural drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Collaborate with project teams, including architects, contractors, and other engineers, to resolve design and construction issues.
• Ensure all structural designs adhere to relevant building codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Review shop drawings and respond to contractor queries during the construction phase.

Requirements
