Job summary

RINA is seeking a CAD Drafter - Structural Engineering in Houston, TX or Chicago/Lisle, IL for the Plant Engineering division. The role drafts detailed drawings from engineer markups, coordinates CAD, and maintains project drawing lists.

The position requires proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit, with an eye for quality control, data organization, and collaboration with engineers and managers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED in Design Drafting.
• Ability in CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit) and strong technical drawing skills.
• Understanding of engineering principles and ability to interpret specifications and design documents.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and design using CAD software to create detailed drawings for infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate CAD for projects and update project drawing lists.
• Perform initial drawing setup and ensure drawings align with project standards.
• Quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
• Organize and maintain project data, drawings, and related documents.
