Job summary

RINA is seeking a CAD Drafter - Structural Engineering for its office in Houston, TX or Chicago/Lisle, IL within the Plant Engineering Division. The role focuses on producing accurate drawings, coordinating CAD tasks, and maintaining technical documents for infrastructure projects.

The position requires proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Revit, with strong drafting standards knowledge and attention to detail.

Qualifications

Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit with strong drafting skills.
Familiar with drafting standards and able to produce precise drawings.
Able to interpret specifications and design documents.
Able to read schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.
Knowledge of dimensioning, tolerancing, and material specs.
Detail-oriented and organized, compliant with regulations.
Excellent verbal and written communication with team members.
Experience with 3D modeling is a plus.

Responsibilities

Create detailed technical drawings for infrastructure projects using AutoCAD-based tools.
Coordinate with engineers and senior draftsmen to meet project standards.
Prepare and maintain drawings, plans, and specifications with version control.
