Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group (QISG) is actively seeking a Drafter - Structural to support large-scale energy generation, transmission, and substation projects across North America. The role involves producing 2D and 3D structural drawings, collaborating with engineers and a multidisciplinary team to deliver accurate construction documents.

Responsibilities include developing drawings from concepts, applying CAD standards, and assisting with QA/QC to ensure design intent meets project

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in 2D AutoCAD drafting for civil/structural drawings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development and maintenance of 2D & 3D models of structural framing and reinforced concrete.
• Produce detailed design drawings including plans, sections, elevations, and details.
• Follow project standards and collaborate with engineers to develop construction drawings.
• Support design production and deliverables for substation, buildings, and foundations.
• Review drawings for compliance with design intent and project specifications.
• Interface with project teams and learn new software to support varying project scopes.
