Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC is seeking a Drafter - Structural to support large-scale energy generation, transmission, and substation projects across North America. You will develop 2D/3D CAD models, draft construction drawings, and collaborate with civil, structural, and MEP teams to ensure accurate deliverables.

The role emphasizes quality control, adherence to standards, and ongoing development of drafting practices within a professional office setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in 2D AutoCAD drafting for civil/structural projects.
• Familiarity with ASTM, AISC, and ACI standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with MicroStation and BIM software.
• Ability to work with moderate supervision in a small/medium office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 2D/3D CAD models of structural framing and reinforced concrete.
• Create construction drawings, sections, elevations, and details.
• Support design production and deliverables for large-scale projects.
• Assist with drafting standards for substation, buildings, and foundations.
• Review drawings for compliance with design intent and specs.
• Collaborate with engineers and project teams.
