Job summary

AVCON, INC. seeks a Structural Designer to support engineers in producing accurate, coordinated drawings using Autodesk Revit and BIM tools. You will work with consultants to resolve issues and deliver high-quality plans for public facilities, commercial buildings, bridges, and infrastructure from the Niceville/Fort Walton Beach office.

You will maintain BIM models, refine drawings, and assemble packages for permitting and construction, while adhering to CAD/BIM standards and templates.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Revit with structural focus and BIM workflows.
• Experience producing coordinated structural drawings and details.
• Knowledge of BIM coordination processes and clash detection.

Responsibilities

• Create and refine 3D BIM models for structural systems.
• Develop drawings and details in coordination with engineers.
• Coordinate with architectural, mechanical, and civil models for clash resolution.
• Assemble drawing packages for permitting and construction.
• Maintain CAD/BIM standards and project templates.
• Organize files, manage version control, and support QA reviews.
