Job summary

GHD is seeking a Structural Designer to support US East Design & Delivery, focusing on infrastructure, water/wastewater, and energy facilities. You will develop 2D and 3D models and construction-ready drawings using AutoCAD and Revit, coordinating with engineers to resolve clashes with Navisworks.

The role involves modeling tanks, foundations, slabs, frames, platforms, and pipe supports, ensuring constructability and quality.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or related technical training in design or structural drafting.
• Minimum 5 years of structural design and drafting experience.
• Experience producing 3D BIM models and construction drawings for structural systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; strong knowledge of Revit for structural modeling.
• Experience with Navisworks or similar coordination software.

Responsibilities

• Develop 2D and 3D models and contract drawings for RC and structural steel.
• Model tanks, foundations, slabs, frames, platforms, pipe supports, and steel superstructures.
• Coordinate with structural engineers and multidisciplinary teams to resolve clashes.
• Contribute to BIM execution plans and maintain libraries of templates and standard details.
