Job summary

GHD is seeking a Structural Designer to help shape major infrastructure and building projects, focusing on concrete and steel systems. You will create 2D/3D models, develop construction drawings, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure clash-free deliverables.

The role supports a hybrid work model with in-office collaboration and flexibility, and may be based in a Tampa, FL office or other regional locations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Design Services or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years of structural design and drafting experience, with emphasis on concrete and steel.
• Experience producing 3D BIM models and detailed construction drawings for structural systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and working knowledge of Revit for structural modelling.
• Experience with Navisworks or similar coordination software.
• Knowledge of reinforced concrete, structural steel framing, and foundations.

Responsibilities

• Develop 2D and 3D models and construction-ready drawings.
• Coordinate with structural engineers and multidisciplinary teams to resolve clashes.
• Contribute to BIM execution plans and template libraries.
