Job summary

Zohorecruit in South Plainfield, NJ seeks a Structural Auto Body Technician to repair and restore vehicles with structural damage. You will repair frames, align suspension, replace panels, and weld using MIG/TIG techniques, ensuring factory specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of auto body repair experience with emphasis on structural repairs.
• Knowledge of welding techniques and use of specialized tools.
• Experience in frame and suspension alignment.
• Ability to read repair orders and technical manuals.
• Attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• ASE Structural Technician or I-CAR Gold Class certification is preferred.
• Experience using Car-O-Liner, Chief, Genesis or Celette is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess structural damage on vehicles to determine repair scope.
• Disassemble and assess damage, identify hidden issues.
• Repair/rebuild frames to factory specs using specialized tools.
• Align frames and suspension systems for proper handling.
• Replace damaged panels with new or used parts.
• Use MIG/TIG welding for repairs.
• Use computerized measuring systems for alignment.
• Communicate repair needs and timelines with team and customers.
