Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a Structural Auto Body Technician in Princeton, NJ to repair and restore vehicles with structural damage. Responsibilities include assessing damage, disassembly, frame rebuilding, alignment, welding, and using specialized equipment.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 2+ years in auto body repair, welding skills, and frame/suspension alignment experience. ASE/I-CAR certifications preferred. This is a full-time on-site role with a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of auto body repair experience with emphasis on structural repairs.
• Knowledge of welding techniques and use of specialized tools and equipment.
• Experience in frame and suspension alignment.
• Reading and interpreting repair orders and technical manuals.
• Certification(s) such as ASE Structural Technician or I-CAR Gold Class preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess structural damage and plan repairs.
• Disassemble damaged vehicles to assess extent of damage.
• Repair and rebuild vehicle frames to factory specs.
• Align frames and suspension systems for proper handling and safety.
• Replace damaged panels and parts with new or used ones.
• Weld using MIG, TIG, and resistance welding.
• Use computerized measuring systems for alignment.
• Communicate repair needs and timelines with team and customers.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Stay up-to-date with automotive repair technology.
