Job summary

Motocruit is seeking a Structural Auto Body Technician in East Brunswick, NJ to repair and restore vehicles with structural damage, including frame repair, suspension alignment, and panel replacement. Welding with MIG/TIG and precision measuring are essential.

The role requires 2+ years of auto body repair experience focused on structural work, plus the ability to read repair orders and work well in a team. ASE or I-CAR certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of structural damage on vehicles to determine repairs.
• Disassemble damaged vehicles to assess extent of structural damage and hidden issues.
• Repair and rebuild vehicle frames to factory specifications using specialized tools.
• Align frames and suspension systems to ensure proper handling and safety.
• Replace damaged panels and parts with new or used components as appropriate.
• Utilize MIG/TIG and resistance welding for metal repairs.
• Use computerized measuring systems to ensure proper alignment and repairs.
• Communicate with team and customers to clarify repair needs and timelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to safety guidelines.
