Job summary

Motocruit is seeking a skilled Structural Auto Body Technician in North Kingstown, RI to repair and restore vehicles with structural damage. You will work on frames, suspension, and body panels using MIG/TIG welding and precision measuring tools.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in auto body repair, reads repair orders, and collaborates with a team. ASE Structural Technician or I-CAR Gold Class certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of auto body repair experience with emphasis on structural repairs.
• Ability to read and interpret repair orders and technical manuals.
• Attention to detail and quality workmanship; strong teamwork and communication.
• Preferred certifications: ASE Structural Technician or I-CAR Gold Class.

Responsibilities

• Assess structural damage on vehicles to determine repair scope.
• Disassemble damaged vehicles to inspect for hidden damage.
• Repair/rebuild vehicle frames to factory specs using specialized tools.
• Align frames and suspension systems for proper handling and safety.
• Replace damaged panels with new or used parts per customer needs.
• Weld using MIG, TIG, and resistance welding techniques.
• Use computerized measuring systems to ensure accuracy.
• Communicate with team and customers about repairs and timelines.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow protocols.
