Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Structural Analysis Engineer to evaluate carbon fiber and other composites using FEMAP and Nastran on a remote contract (3-9 months). You will work with aerospace/industrial teams to develop and optimize designs, perform stress analysis, and document findings for production readiness.

The role requires 2+ years of FEMAP/Nastran experience, proficiency with composite structures, and strong communication skills to collaborate with remote and in‑office team members.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands‑on experience using FEMAP and Nastran for structural analysis.
• Experience analyzing composite or carbon fiber structures.
• Experience with bonded and fastened joints.
• Ability to interpret structural loads and translate analysis results into clear engineering recommendations.
• Strong technical communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a remote or in‑office team.

Responsibilities

• Experience with structural substantiation reports, hand calculations, or fatigue analysis.
• A mechanical, aerospace, or related engineering degree.
