Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a Stroke Program Coordinator (RN) to lead programmatic initiatives, ensure DNV stroke certification compliance, and serve as the hospital-wide point of contact for stroke treatment. You will work with the Stroke Committee and other stakeholders to promote quality care for stroke patients.

The role requires clinical stroke care experience and a background in education, consultation, and research to advance continuum-of-care across all settings.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of recent and relevant clinical experience related to stroke care required.
  • Experience with data analysis and research required.

Responsibilities

  • Programmatic initiatives for the stroke sub-service line and assure compliance with DNV stroke certification requirements.
  • Serves as the point of contact for stroke treatment throughout the hospital, and works collaboratively with the Stroke Committee and other key stakeholders on all stroke efforts.
  • Functions as a clinician, an educator, a consultant and a researcher with the primary responsibility for promoting quality care for stroke patients.
  • Coordinate care of stroke patients to meet multiple service needs, ensure continuity of care, and eliminate fragmentation of care and services in all settings across the continuum.
