Job summary

Upson Regional Medical Center in Thomaston, GA seeks a Stroke Coordinator to lead DNV accreditation efforts and maintain ongoing surveillance of the stroke program. You will collect data, prepare reports, educate staff, and provide rounding activities to support staff.

Collaborate with the Chief Quality Officer and Director of Quality and Patient Safety, participate in committee meetings, and drive compliance with department processes across the hospital.

Qualifications

• Requires an active GA RN license and an associate degree in nursing.
• BSN or higher degree preferred; SCRN certification encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Subject-matter expert for the stroke certification program and responsible for data collection, reporting, education, rounding and staff resources.
• Lead DNV accreditation preparation and ongoing surveillance, monitor compliance across the organization.
• Work with the Chief Quality Officer and Director of Quality and Patient Safety; participate in committee meetings and lead meetings as required.
