Job summary

Advocate Health's High Point Medical Center is seeking a Stroke Program Coordinator to lead the development and evaluation of evidence‑based stroke care protocols and quality initiatives. You will coordinate stroke patient care across the continuum with physicians, nursing staff, and families to promote seamless, patient‑centered care.

The role requires RN licensure in NC, a BSN, CPR, NIHSS, and at least 5 years in ICU/ED/Neurologic nursing, plus quality improvement experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing and NC RN license required.
• CPR and NIHSS certification required.
• Minimum 5 years of ICU/ED/Neurologic nursing experience.
• Quality improvement experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and evaluation of evidence-based stroke care protocols and quality initiatives.
• Coordinate comprehensive stroke patient care across the continuum with physicians and teams.
• Monitor and report stroke program data and performance metrics.
• Develop education programs for clinicians, patients, families, and community.
• Serve as clinical resource and support staff competency development.
