Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking Advanced Practice Clinicians for our Neuro Endovascular - Neurology: Inpatient Stroke Program in Wisconsin. The part-time position involves 24 hours per week with weekend 12-hour shifts, and coverage of vascular neurology services.

Qualifications

• PA license and PA-C certification are required.
• NP licensure and related credentials may apply depending on pathway.
• Inpatient hospital experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, treat and manage inpatient neurology patients.
• Obtain histories, perform physicals, and determine differential diagnoses.
• Prescribe medications, therapies and treatments as appropriate.
• Coordinate care, including discharge planning and referrals.
• Provide clinical direction to nursing staff and ensure care standards.
