Qualifications

• Minimum NP or PA licensure in Wisconsin.
• Active DEA license or ability to obtain.
• NP path requires RN/APRN credentials and board certification.
• PA path requires PA license and board certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to adult clinical and research neurosurgery patients on the Neuroscience General Care and Progressive Care Units.
• Work in collaboration with faculty, residents, fellows, surgeons, and nursing staff to provide on-going patient care and management.
• Perform inpatient rounding and discharge planning for general neurosurgery patients.
• UW Health APP Advisory Council involvement to support and advise on APP practice.
