Job summary

Advocate Health’s Neurosurgery team at Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago is seeking a PA-C or NP to provide inpatient consults, daily rounds, and perioperative care in a high-volume neurovascular setting. Onboarding includes exposure to both general neurosurgery and neurointerventional care with multidisciplinary collaboration.

New grads welcome; DEA and BLS required. Onsite role with full-time schedule, rich benefits, and opportunities across urban settings.

Qualifications

• PA-C or NP with valid DEA and BLS certifications.
• For NP, ACNP certification and RNFA certification are required.
• New grads welcome; neuro experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inpatient consults for general and neurovascular services; respond to hyperacute strokes.
• Perform daily rounds, progress notes, and patient assessments.
• Prepare patients for neurosurgical and neurointerventional procedures (pre- and post-op).
• Manage ER and hospital consults; one clinic day per week.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary general and neurovascular teams.
