Job summary

Advocate Health in Wisconsin is seeking an Advanced Practice Clinician to join the Neuro Endovascular - Neurology: Inpatient Stroke Program. The role covers acute inpatient stroke care, vascular neurology coverage, and collaboration with physicians to manage complex neurovascular cases.

The position is full-time with weekday daytime shifts, occasional weekends, and periodic night rotations as part of a rotating team. Competitive salary and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Active PA license in the practicing state.
• PA-C certification from NCCPA.
• RN license in the practicing state.
• NP certifications from ANCC or AANP.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, diagnoses, treats, and manages inpatient neurovascular patients.
• Provides care coordination and planning for stroke patients.
• Prescribes therapies across multiple care settings as appropriate.
• Mentors nursing staff and ensures age-appropriate care.

Physician Assistant license

PA-C NCCPA certification

Registered Nurse license

Nurse Practitioner certifications (ANCC/AANP)
