Job summary

Inova Alexandria Hospital seeks a dedicated Stroke Program Coordinator to join our team. This full-time role (Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM) offers a sign‑on bonus and relocation assistance, with occasional travel for community events.

The position supports a comprehensive benefits program and hybrid work opportunities. As part of the Inova Health system, you will lead stroke education, facilitate evidence‑based practice, and drive quality improvements across the service line to enhance patient

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
2 years acute care experience including 1 year in quality performance improvement.
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association; Virginia RN licensure.

Responsibilities

Collaborates in developing and implementing a stroke education plan and continuing education programs for the team.
Guides clinical practice development for stroke care using current literature and standards.
Analyzes information to drive timely decisions and support fiscal, quality and operational goals.
Promotes evidence‑based practice in stroke care and coordinates across the service line.
Aligns resources with organizational goals and fosters leadership development among colleagues.
Implements data‑driven quality improvement initiatives in stroke care.
Communicates ideas clearly in writing and verbally to stakeholders.
Monitors unit financial goals and supports strategies to improve financial performance.]
