The Hemet Global Medical Center in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a Stroke Coordinator - PT (Day). The role focuses on coordinating stroke research projects, ensuring SOP compliance, and delivering stroke education to patients, staff, families, and community members.

The coordinator will collaborate with the Stroke Care Center team to ensure adherence to best practices per AHA guidelines and will support follow-up calls and data collection for ongoing studies.

Qualifications

• Graduate nurse from an accredited school of nursing is preferred.
• Licensure: LVN or RN licensed in California required.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing practice; neuro experience preferred.
• Experience with education and data collection preferred.
• Experience with computer and other productivity applications preferred.
• Spanish speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate stroke research projects and ensure SOP compliance.
• Provide stroke education to patients, staff, families and community members.
• Conduct follow-up phone calls and collect study data.
• Collaborate with the Stroke Center team to implement best practices per the AHA guidelines.
