Job summary

Terrebonne General Health System is seeking a Stroke Coordinator to coordinate and support the hospital’s stroke program across the emergency department to discharge. You will be a resource to physicians, nurses, EMS partners, and hospital leadership, promoting timely, evidence-based stroke care.

Collaborating with the Stroke Medical Director and multidisciplinary Stroke Committee, you will monitor outcomes, facilitate education, maintain required documentation, and support readiness for Primary

Qualifications

• RN licensed to practice as a registered nurse (Louisiana licensure).
• BSN preferred.
• 3-5 years clinical experience.
• Demonstrates leadership ability.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office or database tools preferred.
• Knowledge of performance improvement or patient safety preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, monitor, and support the hospital’s stroke program.
• Promote timely, evidence-based stroke care across the care continuum.
• Collaborate with Stroke Medical Director, Stroke Committee, and leadership.
• Maintain documentation and support readiness for certification and regulatory review.
