Terrebonne General Health System in Houma, LA, seeks a Stroke Coordinator to lead and coordinate the hospital's stroke program from ED through discharge, ensuring timely, evidence-based care. The coordinator works with physicians, nurses, EMS, and hospital leadership to monitor outcomes, drive performance improvement, maintain documentation, and support readiness for Primary Stroke Center certification.

Qualified candidates are RNs licensed in Louisiana, with BSN preferred, 3–5 years clinical

Competenze

RN license in Louisiana is required.
BSN preferred.
3-5 years clinical experience.
Demonstrates leadership ability.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with computer applications including Microsoft Office or database management systems preferred.
Performance improvement or patient safety knowledge and experience preferred.

Mansioni

Coordinate, monitor, and support the hospital's stroke program.
Promote timely, evidence-based stroke care across the care continuum.
Serve as a resource to physicians, nurses, EMS, and leadership regarding stroke care and standards.
Monitor outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement.
