Job summary

Goshen Intermediate School in Goshen, IN, is seeking a STRIVE Paraprofessional (SN) for the 2025-26 school year. The role supports SPED students under teacher direction within the IEP framework and regular classroom activities.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal and educational needs, collecting progress data, and facilitating communication between teachers. School year hours are 12:00–3:00 PM, 15 hours weekly with benefits under certain conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in caring for the personal and emotional needs of students
• Implement activities from the IEP
• Provide instruction as directed by the teacher
• Collect and summarize student progress data
• Provide general supervision to students
• Monitor students' social and vocational abilities
• Communicate programmatic information to the teacher
• Participate in IEP conferences when appropriate
• Adapt to changing student needs
• Support/train for job situations as appropriate
• Know emergency procedures
• Keep inventory records and track materials
• Adapt classroom materials for accessibility
• Facilitate communication between regular and special education teachers
• Attend STRIVE department meetings and trainings
• Perform other duties as assigned
