Job summary

Bloomington Public Schools is seeking a Program Management Support Paraprofessional for the STRIVE program, serving students with Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (DCD) at Normandale Hills Elementary School. This role supports behavioral and academic needs and is based on ASAP start.

Responsibilities include implementing tasks, assisting with instruction and daily living activities, monitoring progress with case managers, and collaborating with licensed staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 60 credits post-secondary education or Para Pro Exam passing score.
• PCA Certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with licensed staff to assist students with academic, behavioral/social/emotional, instruction, and daily living skills.
• Assist in implementation of tasks including instruction and assisting students academically.
• Monitor students' independence and adherence to individual behavior programs.
• Communicate students' progress with case managers.
