Job summary

Life Time is seeking a Personal Training-Hourly Stretch Specialist to support members in achieving happier, healthier lives through branded assisted stretch and recovery sessions. You will build relationships, educate members, and uphold the Life Time brand with superior service.

You will lead sessions, demonstrate recovery techniques, and promote stretch programs while documenting client plans and maintaining current certifications. This is an hourly, on-site position at Life Time facilities.

Qualifications

• Must have a Certified Personal Trainer credential and CPR/AED certification.
• Knowledge of assisted stretching and recovery techniques.
• Ability to perform an aerobic activity for the duration of a class and lift up to 50 pounds.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Develops safe, professional client programs to achieve goals and retention.
• Leads assisted stretch sessions using PNF and contract-relax techniques.
• Leads recovery sessions using assisted stretching, Hypervolt percussion, and breathing drills.
• Reads, watches, and engages in required training for the role.
• Performs stretch and recovery demos for new clients including screenings and goal setting.
• Provides fitness floor assistance to ensure safety, education, and motivation.
• Promotes and sells stretch session programs and other personal training services.
• Completes administrative requirements for each client’s fitness plan.
• Keeps current on certifications and industry trends.
