Job summary

The City of Saratoga Springs is seeking a Maintenance Worker I – Streets for a full‑time role in the Public Works Department. You will work under the Streets Supervisor on street maintenance, drainage, snow plowing, and related facilities, with growth opportunities within the department.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and experience in public works or construction. Certifications such as Storm Water Inspector within 12 months, OSHA training, and a Utah CDL Class A with

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Some experience in public works or construction preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Storm Water Inspector certification within 12 months of hire; OSHA Confined Space; OSHA Trench Safety; First Aid/CPR; CDL Class A with Tanker endorsement (or ability to obtain within 6 months).

Responsibilities

• Inspect streets and coordinate maintenance and repairs.
• Set forms, pour and finish concrete; rake asphalt for streets, curbs, gutters, driveways, alleys and sidewalks.
• Operate light vehicles and equipment for transportation and maintenance tasks; perform routine equipment maintenance.
