The City of Saratoga Springs is seeking a Maintenance Worker I – Streets to join the Public Works Department. This full-time role (~40 hours/week) reports to the Streets Supervisor and offers opportunities for growth within the department.

The City of Saratoga Springs currently has an opening for a Maintenance Worker I – Streets, this is a full-timeposition with the Saratoga Springs Public Works Department of approximately 40 hours per week. This position is under the general supervision of the Assistant Public Works Director – Infrastructure and will work directly under the Streets Supervisor. The Public Works Department will try to provide the successful applicant with opportunities to grow and progress within the department.
This position is responsible for assisting in the ongoing operation and maintenance of the City's storm drainage systems and streets throughout the City. This position also functions as one of the City's principal "on-call" employee for after-hours emergencies related to areas of responsibility and snow plowing.

Salary Range:
The full wage range is as follows, please note hiring will normally occur between the Minimum of the range and will not exceed the Midpoint of the range:
Maintenance I: Minimum - $21.73/hr., Midpoint - $26.07/hr., Maximum - $30.42/hr.

In lieu of the City's Social Security contributions, the City contributes 6.2% of salary into a 401(k) retirement plan.
Leave time benefits include 120 hours of paid time off (PTO) accrued annually, 40 hours of shortterm medical accrued annually, and 11 holidays annually.
Schedule
Monday - Thursday: 6:30 am - 5:30 pm. Snow plow and on-call hours
